The Norma Jean Infinity Top by Le Bomb Shop was something I thought about for a while. It took me a long time before I actually took the plunge and purchased it.
I’ve managed to style this top in eleven different ways. I feel like I probably could have done a few more styles now that I look over them, it really is the infinity top!
Firstly, I couldn’t get over the coppery rust colour because it’s such a unique shade for pin-up style clothing. And secondly, the idea of having one top that could be worn so many different ways intrigued me. I was curious about it. With my current spending limits it would be an item that could be changed around and worn differently.
The top doesn’t have any zips or buttons. You need to pull the waistband over your head and down, then lift the halter straps up and around depending on how you’re styling it.
There is a bit of stretch, I went with a medium size and I’m 36″-28″-41″ – always check the sizing guide if you’re unsure. And if you need more clarification, message the shop before buying.
I brought nipple covers to wear with this top. They are silicone covers from Farmers here in New Zealand and cost $12.99. They’re in the lingerie section (I just asked at the lingerie counter). They look exactly like those ‘chicken fillet’ bras. Because the Norma Jean Infinity top material is quite thin and slinky, I highly recommend purchasing some of these for smoothing the nipple area. I feel like they work perfectly with the multitude of ways this top can be worn.
It took a bit of courage for me to buy this actually, purely because of how slinky and booby it is. It totally isn’t something I would usually ever buy myself. Now that I have it, and can style it in ways that make me feel more confident I’m totally happy.
This top comes in a rust colour (shown here) and also in classic black. I’ll definitely be grabbing a black one ASAP, check them out at the Le Bomb Shop website.
I think the thing I love the most about this top, is that for someone like me who doesn’t want to show a large amount of skin on the front region. This top allows you to have the freedom to style it in different ways that cover or show more skin.
The only thing I’m not sure of, would be how my bustier ladies would feel about wearing something like this. I have quite small boobs so they kind of just sit there. Whereas someone with a more voluptuous bust may or may not feel comfortable due to support issues. I would love to know if any curvy plus size babes have this top and how they feel in it.
That’s right! We’re still going… just keep scrolling…
